India all-rounder Washington Sundar has tested positive for Covid-19. The 22-year-old was part of the 18-member ODI squad but after returning positive his participation in the series remains doubtful.
The series will start from January 19.
As per a report in Cricbuzz, Sundar is believed to be in Mumbai, from where the members of the ODI squad were scheduled to leave for South Africa.
“I have nothing to comment, I will come back to you soon,” Sundar was quoted as saying in the report awhen asked about his Covid-19 test reports.
